Research internships
Up to two research internships of at least 6 weeks each (10 CP each) can be completed as part of the Master's degree program in Biochemistry.
These internships can be completed internally (in working groups involved in the modules offered in the study programmes) or externally.
The internships are not graded, but must be graded as "passed" in order to be credited with the 10 credit points.
Offers for Master's theses are regularly published and updated in MHH's ILIAS.
Master's thesis
The Master's thesis is intended to demonstrate the ability to successfully work scientifically on a comprehensive topic in biochemistry. 30 credit points are awarded for passing the "Master's thesis" module.
The Master's thesis is usually completed in the 4th semester (processing time = 6 months). It must be requested in advance from the programme coordinator and approved by the Examination Board.
As a rule, Master's theses are completed at the Institutes of the MHH; external Master's theses are permitted, but must also be applied for in advance from the Examination Board.
Offers for Master's theses are regularly published and updated in MHH's ILIAS.
