Psychosocial counseling

for students of the MHH at the MHH

Student life, like life itself, can be very demanding. Individual difficulties are nothing out of the ordinary. The Psychosocial Counseling Service (PSB) gives students the opportunity to talk to a neutral person about themselves, their situation and their problems and, if necessary, about further support options.

Possible topics could be

  • Self-doubt and lack of perspective
  • excessive demands
  • Relationship problems
  • Exam anxiety
  • Depressive phases
  • Mental exhaustion
  • ...

If you would like to take advantage of psychosocial counseling, please contact Carolin Fregien or Prof. Nils Schneider. Both are physicians at the Institute of General Medicine with basic psychotherapeutic or psychosomatic qualifications and are bound by confidentiality. Your concerns will be treated with absolute confidentiality. The consultations preferably take place in person, but can also take place by telephone or video on request.

Please note that this is not psychotherapy, but counseling. In one or more individual meetings, we will try to clarify your problem together or consider what further steps may be useful.
