Dual Bachelor's degree program in Midwifery Science
The Bachelor's degree program in Midwifery Science combines academic studies (university part) with supervised practical periods (practical part). Students graduate with both a license to use the professional title of midwife and a Bachelor's degree.
The dual study program for prospective midwives is offered as a seven-semester study programme. It integrates the minimum number of 4,600 hours required by law to obtain a license to practice as a midwife. As the institution with overall responsibility, the university will work together with responsible practice institutions (VPE).
