Lecture by Dr. Matthias Felten: Circadian rhythms in critically ill patients

Monday, 27.05.24 - 14:30 - Lecture hall M (I01-01-1140)

Dear colleagues,

Ladies and gentlemen,

We would like to cordially invite you to a lecture by Dr. Matthias Felten on "Circadian rhythms in critically ill patients" on Monday, May 27, at 2:30 pm in lecture hall M.

Dr. Felten works at Charité Berlin as a pulmonologist and scientist in the Clinical Department of Pneumology, Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine with the Sleep Medicine Unit. After completing his doctorate at the University of Greifswald, his research interests focused in particular on ventilation-related damage to the lungs and the influence of the circadian rhythm on the course of the disease, for example after infections.

In his work, Dr. Felten was able to show that the circadian rhythm has a major influence on ventilator-induced lung damage and the associated healing process.

We look forward to your participation and a lively discussion following the lecture!
