Information on the day clinic
Welcome to our website
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses and nurses who undergo continuous further training. In addition to the specialist monthly training courses, many nurses have completed specialist training in oncological care, palliative care or pain nursing. Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources. New employees are introduced to their new tasks in accordance with an induction guideline developed by our ward, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care.
The team is also integrated into a rotation system in the area of pediatric bone marrow and stem cell transplantation(ward 62) and pediatric haematology and oncology(ward 64a). This gives the nursing staff a continuous professional overview of the entire Department.
The day clinic has a total of seven places.
Our consultation hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 - 17:00.
The focus of our nursing work is on the outpatient and day-care monitoring and treatment of patients with oncological and hematological diseases as well as outpatient care before or after a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
This includes the early recognition and management of emergency situations as well as the use of infusion, chemotherapy and transfusion therapies.
