Information on the ward
Welcome to our website
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation. We are responsible for 7-12 patients at a time as part of our nursing care.
Accommodation on our elective care ward is in single and double rooms.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses (some with additional qualifications) who specialize in the care of patients before and after cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgery, as well as patients after trauma and before and after regular trauma surgery.
The aim is to provide our patients with the best possible nursing and medical care and to prepare them and their relatives for the changed living conditions at home. In addition to the best possible medical and nursing care, service staff are available to our patients to provide support in the small and big things of everyday life on the ward.
We guarantee continuous care by working in a three-shift system in order to restore the well-being and health of our patients through interdisciplinary cooperation.
Work shadowing and internships are possible to a limited extent. Early application to the nursing services office with a complete application is essential.
