Information on the ward
Welcome to our website
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation. We are responsible for a certain number of patients as part of our nursing care.
Accommodation is provided on our elective care ward in single and double rooms.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses (some with additional qualifications such as practical instructors). Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources. New colleagues are introduced to their new tasks in accordance with an induction guideline developed by our ward, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care.
We guarantee continuous care by working in a three-shift system in order to restore the well-being and health of our patients through interdisciplinary cooperation.
The focus of our work lies in the special Nursing of patients with internal diseases. This includes preparation, monitoring and treatment after various interventions and therapies, as well as holistic patient observation and Nursing, mobilization and advice for patients, taking into account their individual resources and psychosocial aspects.
In order to meet our quality guidelines, we work according to the care standards of the Hannover Medical School. These are an important prerequisite for guaranteeing you optimal Nursing and treatment.
