Information on the ward
A warm welcome
Our nursing team is a mixed-qualified team and is employed on a full-time and part-time basis.
Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources program. New colleagues are individually introduced to their future tasks in accordance with our induction concept .
The nursing teams on neurological wards 35, 43, 43c and 45 are led by a divisional manager.
All teams therefore pursue
- Common goals
- Regular exchange
- Satisfaction of patients, relatives and staff
- Process optimization
To achieve our common goals, WE live:
1. good, cooperative and constructive interdisciplinary collaboration
- Weekly team meetings
- Joint process optimization
- Regular evaluation of processes
2. monthly internal departmental training for all employees
3. active Human Resources development
- Employees help to shape
- Monthly workshops
- Department meeting with workshops and presentation of results
- Team building across departments and wards
- Conducting employee-supervisor meetings
The task of nurses is not limited to medical and nursing care, but also includes the care, counseling and support of the sick and needy and their relatives.
As already mentioned in the introduction, some of our employees have additional qualifications, which are listed below:
- Specialist for Nursing Stroke Patients
- Specialist in Nursing for patients with multiple sclerosis
- specially trained nursing staff according to the Bobath concept
- Trained practical instructors
A special feature of our ward is that we have been selected as a "school ward" as part of a project.
The aim of this project is to provide trainees with professional guidance during their training. This means that on our ward, Nursing and patient care are largely carried out independently and autonomously by trainees and registered nurses working as a team. The trainees are supervised by qualified staff during their practical work and their actions are reviewed. Trainees are given the opportunity to contribute their knowledge and skills to Nursing. Our task as a team is to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and your understanding and support are of great importance to us.
The most common neurological conditions that we care for are
- ALS
- malignant neoplasms
- Parkinson's disease
- multiple sclerosis
- muscle diseases
- myasthenia
- polyneuropathies
- strokes
