Declaration of consent to the use of your data
Purpose and legal basis
The data collected from you is used to ensure the quality of studies and teaching. Subject to your expressly voluntary consent, it may be linked to data on academic success, academic progress and official university statistics in order to carry out scientific research projects in the Office of Academic Affairs - Evaluation & Capacity Division - and qualification projects within Hannover Medical School, provided that these are suitable for ensuring or improving the quality of studies and teaching within the meaning of Section 3 (1) of the MHH Evaluation Regulations.
The processing is carried out on the legal basis of:
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 89 GDPR
- § Section 17 NHG (Lower Saxony Higher Education Act)
- § 13 Matriculation regulations of the MHH
Type of processing and internal transfer
Which data we collect:

Subject to your consent (see "Consent" below), your information on the questionnaire may be linked to information from the student statistics (e.g. gender, age, A-level grade, de-registration) and on your study progress (results from module examinations and state examinations, duration of studies).
Anonymization:

Your personal data will only be linked and anonymized in the Office of Academic Affairs - Evaluation & Capacity division.
Internal use and data transfer:

The anonymized data sets are 1) evaluated in the Office of Academic Affairs - Evaluation & Capacity Division ("data recipient") and can also be made available for 2) qualification work at the MHH for a limited period of time.
The overall responsibility for data collection, Nursing and control remains with the Office of Academic Affairs - Evaluation & Capacity. The data protection concept has been coordinated with the MHH data protection officer and approved.
Consent
On each questionnaire used to collect data for the above-mentioned purposes, you will be asked for your consent to the linking and use of your data.
I am aware that I have the following legal rights under the GDPR:
You have the Legal right to information about the relevant personal data stored (Art. 15 GDPR). If you discover that incorrect personal data relating to you is being processed, you can request rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). You have the legal right to request the erasure of your personal data if certain grounds for erasure apply. This is the case, for example, if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected or processed or if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing (Art. 17 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the Legal right to restrict the processing of your personal data (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and a general right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).
