- Intensive care medicine topics, from everyday clinical practice - for everyday clinical practice
- Updates on state-of-the-art medicine - with practical exercises in small groups (hands-on - currently only online due to hygiene restrictions)
Once a week, usually on Wednesday mornings, the elective subject Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine takes place from 07:30 - 09:00.
The lecturers come from the Medical School from the respective specialist disciplines and are available for additional practical questions.
Students of the MHH are invited.

The critically ill child, resuscitation, circulation and hemodynamics, right heart strain and pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart defects and assist devices, arrhythmia, ventilation and blood gas analysis, metabolic emergencies, infection and sepsis, infusion management, liver failure, renal failure, pediatric (poly)trauma, poisoning, burns and scalds, neuropaediatric emergencies, delivery room emergencies, emergency transport and monitoring, determination of death, end-of-life, crisis support and interviewing, quality management: How can I improve?
