The Hannover Marathon takes place this Sunday. 42 teams from Hannover Medical School (MHH) will also be taking part in the relay race. This means that around 250 MHH employees will be sharing the marathon distance of 42.195 kilometres in total. The six sections are between 4.5 and 9.4 kilometres long. Thanks to a relay stop, all teams will be able to cross the finish line in front of the New Town Hall together.

"It is part of our mission statement that we work hand in hand as a team," says Martina Saurin, Vice President of MHH and responsible for business management and administration. "I am delighted that so many MHH employees will be crossing the finish line of the marathon on Sunday in colourful relay teams. Nursing, logistics, science, administration, doctors - all professional groups at MHH are taking part! This shows that our values don't just guide us in our work." Martina Saurin herself is running in the "MHH Run4Fun" relay team.

The runners from MHH will be hard to miss. This year, the MHH marathon relay teams will take to the course in bright green running shirts sponsored by the MHH plus foundation.
