New consultation hour for the rehabilitation of COVID-19 long-term effects

The Clinical Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine is now offering a special outpatient clinic for patients who have recovered from COVID-19. It is aimed at patients suffering from long-term consequences of the disease, such as general fatigue, sensory disorders, memory and movement coordination disorders, muscular symptoms and reduced physical performance. Questions about occupational performance and any necessary inpatient or full-time outpatient rehabilitation measures can also be clarified. Other specialist medical care (e.g. pneumology, cardiology, neurology) cannot and should not be replaced by this outpatient clinic. Initial contacts with our medical team can also be carried out as video consultations.

Due to the current situation: In this special outpatient clinic, a medical consultation will take place in which possible measures from the field of rehabilitation medicine will be discussed with you, which may help to alleviate your symptoms. We do not carry out any instrumental or genetic clarification or laboratory tests on your blood values.

Please call 0511/532-4115 or leave a message on the answering machine with your concerns. We will then get back to you.

Alternatively, you can also register with our ViCoReK for a telemedical post-COVID consultation via your GP. You can find further information at: www.vicorek-nds.de
