From basic research to supramaximal care

In addition to the research topics on Transplantation and Regeneration or Biomedical Engineering as well as Implants, the Hannover Medical School (MHH) is also well-known for the Infection Research. The MHH possesses a big network through partnerships with the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research (HZI), memberships in German Centers for Health Research as well as various collaborative research centers, the Cluster of Excellence RESIST and the HiGHmed Consortium. The MHH has lots of excellent internal (at the Campus), national and international collaborative research projects. The latter is also illustrated by the broad research funding of the MHH.
