Returning to work after breast cancer

Status of data collection in November 2018

The recruitment of new study participants was completed in fall 2018. By October 2018, 453 patients had completed and returned the questionnaire, 108 patients had declined to participate. This results in a response rate of 80.7% for the initial survey.

Questionnaire response rate for the initial survey (cut-off date: 31. 10. 2018):

Total: 561

The first repeat survey (six-month catamnesis) started in summer 2017; 332 questionnaires have currently been received, ten patients have dropped out. As part of the one-year catamnesis, 183 questionnaires were received.

40 interviews were successfully conducted as part of the employer survey. This concludes the employer survey. Transcription and evaluation are still ongoing.

The social services survey has been completed. In March, the first results from the patients' perspective were presented at the 27th Rehabilitation Science Colloquium in Munich.
