Simulation Patient Program of the MHH (SPP-MHH)

Use of simulation patients in teaching and examinations - established and firmly anchored.

The training and use of teaching and simulation patients for teaching and practical examinations was initiated by Medical Psychology with the start of the "HannibaL" model degree program in Human medicine.

The SPP-MHH currently has around 70 dedicated simulation patients available for exercises on conducting medical consultations, communications in difficult situations and physical examinations. The simulation patients are made up of professional actors, amateur actors and interested laypersons and are trained and prepared for the various assignments by the SPP-MHH.
