Home-based training and care program for colorectal, breast and prostate cancer

A care project with online-supported training

Cancer diagnoses are among the most common diseases and are the second most common cause of death in Germany. Lifestyle factors, such as lack of exercise, are common causes of these diseases. This study is an online-based care project specifically for patients with colorectal (CR), breast (B) and prostate (P) cancer.

In order to improve quality of life and strengthen performance, a home-based training program was developed in cooperation with Leipzig University Hospital, which makes it possible to train from home with the help of a specially developed app. The examinations also include a comprehensive blood analysis, an ultrasound measurement of vascular function and body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). Thanks to the technology-based approach, care is also possible in the current corona situation and will also be able to actively accompany you in the future.
