Safety and Physics Administrative Unit (SSP)

The Safety and Physics Administrative Unit (SSP) bundles the tasks of Radiation Protection and Biological Safety at Hannover Medical School and also provides the Medical Physics services required for Facilities or Institutions with X-ray applications and for Nuclear Medicine. It comprises the Departments of Biological Safety (BioS) and Radiation Protection and Medical Physics (SSMP). The Waste and Hazardous Materials Officer and the Biological Safety Officer are assigned to BioS and the Radiation Protection Officer to SSMP.
