Welcome to the TA-Forum-MHH
This interest group focuses on the overarching professional and/or scientific exchange of information with other universities or organizations.
Since its foundation in 2002 , we have continued to be active in the field of further training for TAs within the MHH. Take a look at the current courses for TAs at the MHH.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there have been no meetings since 2020. We hope that this will change again at the end of 2022. Unfortunately, there are no new events. Not even in 2025.
New information from the DVTA
- Reform of technical assistance professions in medicine passed
On Thursday, January 28, 2021, the Bundestag adopted the federal government's bill to reform the technical assistance professions in medicine and to amend other laws (MTA Reform Act, 19/24447) as amended by the Health Committee(19/26249).
A milestone for the DVTA. In future, medical technologists will be able to independently and autonomously carry out the updated and, in some cases, extended maintenance activities reserved for them. The training is competence-oriented and competitive with other (healthcare) professions, as school fees are no longer charged and an appropriate training allowance is paid. In addition, the quality of the training is ensured by university-qualified teaching staff and practical guidance and support. One fly in the ointment is the lack of the required model clause, which could have been used to test university-based training and open up a career option.
We will continue to pursue this demand in terms of professional policy and would like to thank everyone who supported us in the amendment!
- Discussion with members of the Bundestag
You have a problem with a device, with a treatment? Do you need a substance? Then you've come to the right place.
Use the BioMolCell mailing list to post your questions, and maybe you will find someone in the large MHH who knows exactly the answer to your question.
As we do not operate our own server or mailing list, we have had problems with the direct exchange of knowledge in the past. Now, thanks to Dr. Rainer Niedenthal and Prof. Dr. Matthias Gaestel, we can participate in another university mailing list, so that a large number of people within the MHH can now be contacted.
Once again, the TA-Forum would like to take this opportunity to thank the initiators of the BioMolCell mailing list.
Conditions and registration for the BioMolCell mailing list
Dr. Rainer Niedenthal and Prof. Dr. Matthias Gaestel asked us to present the following conditions for using the mailing list on our website. So register and take an active part, just like us.
