Welcome to the Central/Building Control Technology department
The Central/Building Control Technology department provides the hospital with a 24-hour control room as a point of contact. The ZLT is thus the link to the responsible Departments of Technical Facility Management. The acceptance of technical fault reports with further department-specific allocation within regular working hours and the rapid response and initiation of necessary steps to maintain the availability of technical building equipment outside of regular working hours/functional times form the main day-to-day business.
The department is also responsible for the building automation infrastructure (BA). This central tool is made available to the individual departments of the TGM on request so that they can operate essential functions of the technical building equipment (TGA) fully or partially automatically and across all trades. The building automation systems used for this purpose carry out automation tasks such as measuring, controlling, regulating and tasks for monitoring, operation and surveillance. The technical infrastructure of the BACS also includes its own technical network, which is physically separate from the MIT and is managed under its own responsibility.
Department of Building Management Systems / I&C (Building Automation)
The Department of Building Management Systems / I&C is responsible for ensuring the availability of the building management systems and the IT technology of the Technical Facility Management (TGM) for all operational departments of the facility management service after the technical systems have been taken over, supporting the proper fulfillment of the operational management tasks.
The building management system is an important tool for the quality of operational management in order to save energy costs and operating costs, to carry out functional processes automatically across all trades and according to predefined parameters, and to simplify their operation and monitoring. To this end, all sensors, actuators, control elements, consumers and other technical units in the building are networked with each other. Processes can be combined in scenarios and enable intelligent and optimized interaction between the various components.
The MSR team manages and processes the control and regulation of HVAC-specific components of the technical building equipment in the electrical engineering area, which are part of the building. Excluded are user-specific "self-installations" that were installed independently by the departments.
The GLT / IT-Tech. & Projects team manages and processes the management level of the building management system in addition to the I&C area. In the course of projects/construction measures, support is provided during implementation but also monitoring for compliance with the TAB-GA (Technical Connection Conditions for Building Automation at MHH). In its function as system administrator / IT security coordinator, the team is also responsible for the management / administration / protection / architecture and design of the technical network physically separated from MIT, including the network components (modules).
Department Central Control Technology (ZLT) / Elevator Systems
The 24-hour control room supports the responsible departments of the TGM in the operation of the technical building systems and media supply. All technical systems connected to the building management system are monitored around the clock by the control room. This makes it possible to detect faults within the shortest possible time and immediately initiate suitable countermeasures/processes via the responsible specialist departments within regular working hours. Outside normal working hours/functional times, a technical fault acceptance system is implemented (organizational, personnel and activation of on-call services), which initiates the necessary steps to ensure the availability of the technical building equipment as part of the response to operational fault reports/accidents. The control room also provides the reporting head in the event of major incidents or emergency plan releases.
Service providers commissioned by TGM / GBIV receive the keys to technical operating rooms via the service point - subject to registration by the client. The service point is also the point of contact - subject to registration by the client - for any necessary fire alarm shutdowns as part of maintenance/construction and refurbishment measures.
The elevator systems department ensures the operation, monitoring and maintenance of elevator, conveyor and transport systems as well as electric industrial trucks on the MHH site and its properties.
