Mission statement of the Urological Tumor Center

The center is an interdisciplinary center for the care of patients and their relatives with urological tumor diseases. A particular focus here is on the diagnosis and treatment of urological tumors diagnosed for the first time and advanced urological tumors.

A special feature of the Urological Tumor Center is the cooperation with other specialist departments at the MHH. This enables comprehensive treatment of urological tumor diseases.

• Clinical Department of Haematology, Haemostaseology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation
• Comprehensive Cancer Center Hannover (Claudia von Schilling Center)
• Clinical Department of Nuclear Medicine
• Institute of Pathology
• Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology

Thanks to this close cooperation between the various institutions, we can offer you as a patient a broad spectrum of diagnostics and therapy that is only available in this form in a few Clinical Departments.
