Psycho-oncology helps in particular to learn to deal with the new life situation and to develop strategies for coping with the disease/treatment. Dr. Holthausen-Markou, Senior Physician at the Clinical Department of Gynaecology at the MHH, will provide information in this event on the effects of treatment(s) for gynaecological cancer and how psycho-oncology can help.
