"Treatment of sarcomas at the center and options for pain therapy"

Registration by email to Onkologisches.Zentrum@mh-hannover.de or by phone +49 511 532-3468.

Sarcomas are rare tumors that originate from either bone or soft tissue such as muscle, connective or fatty tissue. Sarcomas are very complex: they can arise almost anywhere in the body and are a group of tumors with many different subtypes. PD Dr. Philipp Ivanyi, coordinator of the MHH Sarcoma Center, gives an overview of these rare tumors and provides information on optimal treatment at the center.

Pain therapy plays an important role in the treatment of sarcoma tumors. Particularly in the advanced stage, pain can restrict the quality of life. One of the most important measures in this case is effective pain relief. In his lecture, PD Dr. Martin Dusch, Head of the Pain Medicine Department of the Clinical Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the MHH, will provide information on pain therapy options - both for sarcomas and other cancers.

The information series is aimed at patients, relatives and all interested parties.

We look forward to seeing you!
