Appointments for the Rheumatology Immunology Outpatient Clinic
Dear patient
Due to the large number of requests from patients with rheumatological or immunological diseases, some of whom are very seriously ill, we are forced to evaluate the appointment requests individually and can unfortunately only accept a small number of patients for an appointment in accordance with the criteria of §116b. This mainly affects patients with severe forms of the underlying disease and patients with a well-founded suspicion of collagenosis or vasculitis.
Appointments can only be made at short notice by registering with your attending physician; inpatient admission may also be recommended.
In order to be able to process your inquiry regarding a rheumatological disease as specifically as possible, we would ask you to complete our questionnaire and send it to us with the specified documents.
Rheumatism questionnaire
In order to process your appointment request, we need the following:
- The fully completed rheumatism questionnaire (see above) if a rheumatic disease is suspected
OR the fully completed immunodeficiency questionnaire (see above) if an immunodeficiency is suspected
- A report from your physician stating why an appointment with us is necessary
- A current medication plan
- A current laboratory (not older than 14 days) with differential blood count, CRP and ESR
- For appointment requests to clarify an immunodeficiency, we require the determination of immunoglobulin G, immunoglobulin A and immunoglobulin M in addition to the differential blood count, CRP and ESR.
Please note:
Due to the high volume of requests, incomplete documents (see points 1 to 5) cannot be processed.
Please understand that incomplete requests must be disposed of accordingly for data protection reasons.
Thank you for your understanding

Outpatient clinic I Consiles Employees Emergencies Rheumatology CenterThe Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology operates a research outpatient clinic where patients can take part in clinical trials, e.g. with new rheumatism drugs. Such study participation is voluntary for patients and is not remunerated. By participating in trials, patients have the opportunity to receive new and innovative therapies that are not yet available at the expense of health insurance companies. Another advantage is the extraordinarily intensive medical care provided by our outpatient study department. Most of our studies are multicenter, which means that many hospitals and physicians (often even worldwide) take part. The studies are carefully planned with the help of international specialists and have been reviewed in advance by the MHH Ethics Committee. This website would like to inform you about the current studies.
Each study defines very clear conditions as to which patients can participate. This requires a detailed informative discussion and a physical examination in our study outpatient clinic before the study begins. If you are a patient or physician interested in a particular study, please contact us:
