Leadership development
Efficient personnel management and cooperation have long been emphasized as important strategic success factors in corporate management. However, managing employees has become more difficult. Competitive pressure, potential cost savings, constant change, the need for flexibility, a shortage of skilled workers, digitalization and the demand for a better work-life balance are just a few examples of the demands placed on executives. The tasks to be performed are also characterized by increasing complexity - with the result that many executives are no longer in a position to know the details of every activity performed by their employees. Leadership by command - even if it is given politely - and by controlling procedures and results is thus becoming a relic of the past. A new understanding of leadership is essential.
The quality of the required leadership action varies from executive to executive. This not only has short-term effects on daily work results, but also long-term effects on the motivation and qualifications of employees and on the employer image as a whole.
In order to convey a common understanding of leadership to all executives at the MHH, to strengthen networking and thus to live a common understanding of leadership, the executive development program has been established at the MHH for many years and is constantly being further developed by us. At the same time, we ensure that the method portfolio of our executives is expanded by regularly adapting to current trends and needs in connection with additional offers. Difficult management situations sometimes require different types of support. We are happy to act as a guide here and, depending on the focus of the issue, can accompany an intervention or arrange a more extensive offer.
