Research - NP-MHH

The Nephropathology working group focuses its research on immunological issues in autologous kidneys, kidney transplants and kidney tumors in numerous own and collaborative projects. Among other things, we use digital pathology and artificial intelligence.

We regularly participate actively in national and international specialist congresses (e.g. DGP, DGfN, DTG, ESP) and have received several awards for our contributions (e.g. Michael J. Mihatsch and Dusan Ferluga Research Award of the ESP, Bilbao 2018; Best Poster DGfN, Rostock 2021; Best Poster Nephropathology ESP, Dublin 2023). We regularly discuss the current status of our research projects in working group meetings.

Our research continuously generates interesting questions for doctoral theses - if you are interested, please send an email to Braesen.Jan@mh-hannover.de
