Single center: Blistering autoimmune diseases
The Center for Blistering Autoimmune Dermatoses, which is part of the Clinical Department of Dermatology and Allergy (Director: Prof. Dr. med. A. Kapp), deals with the diagnosis and treatment of blistering autoimmune diseases in Lower Saxony.
The focus is on making a diagnosis by correlating the clinical picture with immunofluorescence technology, Elisa autoantibody examination and conventional histology.
In parallel, patients in this disease group receive inpatient, day-care or outpatient treatment and the appropriate adjustment to an immunomodulating or immunosuppressive basic therapy.
There is overlapping interdisciplinary cooperation with the Eye Clinic and the Clinical Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
