The voting system will only show you the ballot papers for the committees and bodies for which you are entitled to vote in the respective professional and/or member groups.
PhD students who are employed full-time (§ 16 para. 1 sentence 2 NHG) at the MHH belong to the group of academic staff in the bodies and committees composed according to groups, i.e. in the Senate and Sections I - IV, while the other accepted PhD students belong to the group of students. Due to their enrollment as doctoral students, PhD students employed full-time at the MHH are also members of the student body and thus entitled to vote for the student bodies. The PhD students concerned therefore elect the representatives in the Senate and the sections with their data as employees and the Student Parliament and the doctoral student representatives by registering with their data as students in the electoral system.
The same applies to students who are employed full-time at the MHH. They also belong to the group of academic staff or the group of technical and administrative staff in the bodies and committees composed according to groups, but remain members of the student body due to their enrollment. They are therefore also entitled to vote for the bodies of the student body and use their data as students in the voting system for the corresponding elections.
The activity is considered full-time if the scope of employment is at least 50%.
