Hannover Medical School, CRC conference room or online

Organization: Clinical Department of Nephrology and Hypertension, Hannover Medical School

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to this year's "Update Hypertension" at Hannover Medical School.

Hypertension is the most important risk factor for disease and premature death - however, the rate of hypertension control in Germany is only 50%. We would like to present and discuss the most important innovations on the way to improved diagnosis and treatment in 4 steps.

Step 1: New recommendations and developments in blood pressure measurement, especially home monitoring.

Step 2: Update therapy recommendations from current guidelines (NVL/ESH/ESC).

Step 3: Update on interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment concepts for resistant hypertension.

Case presentation and concepts with interventional radiology.

In the last and 4th step we want to open the discussion of the concepts to the plenum.
