Information on the day clinic
Welcome to our website
The Clinical Department of Dermatology and Allergy has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since November 2015. The Allergology Center under the management of our Clinical Department is certified as a Comprehensive Allergy Center (CAC).
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation. We are responsible for a certain number of patients within the framework of departmental care.
Accommodation in the DTK is in shared rooms, which are generally allocated according to medical criteria. We are happy to accommodate individual wishes.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses (some with additional qualifications such as oncology nursing specialists and hygiene officers). Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources. New colleagues are introduced to their new tasks in accordance with an induction guideline developed by our ward, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care.
Our opening hours are
- Monday to Friday from 07:30 - 17:30
- Closed at the weekend
We offer day-care treatments. These are carried out in an early and late service:
- mornings from 08:00 - 12:00
- in the afternoon from 13:00 - 17:00

Holistic care is provided through nursing measures such as
- Advice and support for patients and relatives
- Full-body or partial body exposure with various UV rays

The day-care admission day
You enter the MHH through the main entrance and go to the right into the central patient admission and have yourself admitted to the dermatology day clinic (DTK) . Then go to the DTK.
If you need help, please contact the volunteer "green ladies and gentlemen" in the registration area, who will also accompany you to the ward if necessary.
In order to get to know you and your needs better and to be able to assess them, you will then have an admission interview with a nurse in our day clinic. She will also explain the further procedure to you.
You will then be introduced to the physicians treating you, the diagnostics and nursing treatment measures will take place.
You can find the daily routine in times of the corona pandemic HERE.
