Information on the ward
Welcome to our website
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation. We are responsible for a certain number of patients within the scope of nursing care.
Accommodation is provided in single, double and multi-bed rooms, which are generally allocated according to medical criteria. We are happy to accommodate individual requests.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time qualified nurses (some with additional qualifications such as practice supervisors). Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources.
New colleagues are introduced to their new tasks in accordance with an induction guideline developed by our ward, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care. We guarantee continuous care by working in a three-shift system in order to restore the well-being and health of our patients through interdisciplinary cooperation.
Our teams are integrated into a job rotation concept with wards 27 and 37 so that our team members also get to know the specialist characteristics of the other disciplines.
We offer work shadowing for nurses from other areas, as well as nursing internships for paramedics from the fire department and medical students. These must be registered with the Nursing management.
The focus of our nursing work is on the care and treatment of patients with complex traumatological injuries and patients suffering from spinal injuries and tumors of the musculoskeletal system, bones and soft tissues.
