Information on the ward
A warm welcome
Our nursing team is a mixed-qualified team and is employed on a full-time and part-time basis.
Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources program. New colleagues are individually introduced to their future tasks in accordance with our induction concept .
The nursing teams on neurological wards 35, 43, 43c and 45 are led by a divisional manager.

The task of nurses is not limited to medical and nursing care, but also includes the care, counseling and support of the sick and needy and their relatives.
As already mentioned in the introduction, some of our employees have additional qualifications, which are listed below:
- specially trained nursing staff in the field of wound management
- specially trained nursing staff in the Bobath concept and kinaesthetics
- Trained practical instructors
We offer work shadowing for nursing staff from other areas as well as nursing internships for paramedics from the fire department and medical students. Registration takes place in the nursing management office.
Service
You will receive a "comfort package" from the MHH. It contains towels, shower mats, soap cloths and a bathrobe on loan. You will also receive a small toiletry bag and a personal writing set. We have a daily changing selection of fresh fruit for you to choose from. On weekdays you will receive the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung (HAZ). On Sundays, you can choose between the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and the Welt am Sonntag (WamS). This service is provided by our service team . Our service staff are open to your individual habits and needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Lounge
Only self-paying and elective patients have the option of using a lounge outside the ward, the MMH Lounge. You can obtain further information and the lounge flyer, which also serves as your access authorization, from our service assistants. Our staff, who specialize in services, look forward to your visit.
- You enter the MHH through the main entrance (building K6) and walk through the shopping street to elevator node_C.
- There you take the passenger elevator to floor 5.
This will take you directly to our front door.
