The Project Management Administrative Unit in the Management and Administration Department provides support for cross-divisional projects on request. The initiation of specific project measures is carried out by the respective Presidium departments, if necessary after consultation and decision by the Presidium as a whole. In accordance with its own project management guidelines, the Project Management Administrative Unit has three main areas of focus:
1. projects in the Management and Administration department:
The Administrative Unit is deployed as required in its own department for Management and Administration projects.
2. MHH-wide "Project Workshop" seminar:
MHH's own training program teaches the basics of project management using participants' own specific projects. The result is a written "project folder" with the essential project information and the further procedure for the project. The aim is to train the project managers in the Departments in such a way that a project can be managed independently according to recognized standards. Tools and modules are provided for this purpose.
3. individual project coaching throughout MHH (as required):
The Project Management Administrative Unit provides MHH-wide support for questions and critical situations in projects and provides individual assistance. The situation in the project is analyzed, the necessary basics are conveyed and concrete options for action are worked out. If necessary, other MHH departments responsible for special topics are involved.
