The sports program for the summer semester is online!
The sports program of the Center for University Sports (ZfH) for the summer semester is online! Around 100 sports are on the program this semester. Online registration for students, staff and lecturers at Leibniz University and the partner universities begins on April 12 at 10:00 am.
New additions to the sports program
For outdoor fans, hiking, mountain biking and trail running are new additions to the program. Golf and dragon boating have also been added to the range of sports on offer. The popular morning yoga classes are being expanded and the weekend fitness mix format is back in the program. Climbing, surfing and whitewater paddling excursions will take place in summer.
The CAMPUS League in soccer and beach volleyball also promises great excitement this semester. In addition to the traditional soccer league, there will also be a competition for mixed teams only for the first time. There will also be a brand new league round in tennis.

In order to avoid server overload, registration will begin with a relay start:

from 11:00 a.m. - online booking open for:
Ball sports, budo and martial arts, backstroke games
from 12:00 - online booking open for:
movement arts, health courses, Leibniz Pausenexpress, kids & family, climbing, rollers and bikes, dance, water sports, other sports
Registration for alumni and external guests
Alumni and guests can register online from April 19 at 07:00 a.m.
Events in the summer semester 2023
In addition to a varied course program, special events are once again on the calendar this semester. The University Sports Festival on June 7 promises fun, games and parties. The ZfH will also be hosting the German University Championships (DHM) in canoe polo from 5 to 7 May and the DHM preliminary rounds in basketball and soccer on 17 May.
