Regular wards
The department of trauma surgery includes
Wards 17 and 27 are located on the 7th floor of the ward block and can be reached via elevator nodes A and B. Accommodation is in single, double and multi-bed rooms, which are generally allocated according to medical criteria. We are happy to accommodate individual requests.
Ward 18 is located on the 8th floor of the ward block, elevator node A. Single or twin rooms are available here, depending on the desired accommodation.
Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated on the interdisciplinary surgical children's ward 66a, which is located in the children's clinic.
From around 6.30 a.m., the nursing staff distribute medication and help with washing and dressing if necessary. Breakfast is served from 8.00 a.m., lunch at 12.00 p.m. and dinner at 5.30 p.m.
Medical rounds usually take place in the mornings on a team basis and include Nursing and Case Managers alongside the medical staff.
A large team of physiotherapists cares for and supports our patients in order to promote their independence and speed up their recovery. Our interdisciplinary social services and discharge management are available to organize further care at home or rehabilitative follow-up treatment.
