Focus on care in care facilities
In our main topic "Care in care facilities", we are interested in describing and improving the care of people in care facilities for the elderly. Among other things, we address the question of which scenarios lead to emergency interventions in care facilities and how these can be avoided - especially when patients do not require hospital treatment. Our research activities also focus on evaluating the extent to which hospice culture and palliative competence have been implemented in care facilities for the elderly and how this affects the quality of life, place of death and hospital stays of patients.
