With its forensic child protection outpatient clinic, the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Hannover Medical School offers physicians in private practice, in clinical practice and in the public health service - regardless of whether criminal charges have been filed - expert advice and qualified medical diagnostics in cases of suspected child abuse and suspected sexual abuse. The aim of the project is to improve the early detection of suspected cases of maltreatment and abuse and to provide expertise and expert knowledge quickly, easily and without complications.
