Frequently asked questions about training at the MHH
The application process begins each year in September for training on August 1st of the following year.
The training period is three years.
The content of the training is set out in the respective training regulations and in the training framework plan.

In the first year of your apprenticeship, you will attend the Alice Salomon School in Hanover-Herrenhausen twice a week. From the second year onwards, you will attend the vocational school once a week.
The amount of the training allowance is regulated by collective agreement. The collective agreement for training in the training occupations under the Vocational Training Act
(TVA-L BBiG) forms the basis of the collective agreement and is staggered.
From November 1, 2022, trainees will receive the following monthly training allowance:
" €1,086.82 in the first year of training
" €1,140.96 in the second year of training
" €1,190.61 in the third year of training
After successfully passing the final examination "at the first attempt", a special payment of € 400.00 is made in accordance with the collective agreement.
Trainees have a vacation entitlement of 30 days in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
