Notes on enrolment
Notification of enrollment to the health insurance company to receive the health insurance number
The sender number of the MHH is: H0000695
- Statutorily insured persons: contact your health insurance company
- Privately insured persons: register with a statutory health insurance company of your choice for exemption from the statutory health insurance obligation

Have you ever been enrolled at the MHH? Then please contact us via info.studium@mh-hannover.de in parallel to the steps described below and let us know the following:
- Matriculation number (if still known)
- Is the multi-card still available?
For admission via hochschulstart.de
- Firstregister in the online portal MHH Online Campus by entering your BID and BAN (no further data entry required!).
- Confirm your e-mail address
- In the online portal under Start application "Link with hochschulstart.de account" (on the right)
- Apply foronline enrolment and enter all data (check HZB date!).
- Uploadproof of measles protection (only use the linked form!) and, if necessary, further proof (e.g. certificate of exmatriculation, etc.).
- The status "Enrolment applied for" is decisive for meeting the enrolment deadline at hochschulstart.de. You can check this yourself by logging into the online portal. After successful processing by the Student Office, the status changes to "Enrolled".
For admission to the higher semester via Hannover Medical School
- Apply foronline enrolment in the MHH Online Campus online portal and enter all data.
- Uploadproof of measles protection (only use the linked form!) and, if necessary, further proof (e.g. certificate of exmatriculation, etc.).
- Please be sure to include details of your previous studies (if available). We are obliged by the Higher Education Statistics Act to collect this data and cannot complete the enrollment process without this information.
For admission after application via uni-assist e. V.
- Login online portal MHH Online Campus and change of initial password
- Apply foronline enrolment in the MHH Online Campus online portal and enter all data.
- Uploadproof of measles protection (only use the linked form!) and, if necessary, further proof (e.g. certificate of exmatriculation, etc.).
Payment to the account of the Student Office by the end of the enrollment period
- The fee overview and account details can be found under Fees.
- Please remember to enter the applicant number from the online portal MHH Online Campus in the reason for payment. You will find the applicant number in the top right-hand corner once you have logged into the portal.
Information on knowledge of Latin
Students who will begin their studies in the first semester of the model degree program in Human medicine must provide the following information

Registration for the information event for newly enrolled students
The information days will take place from 25.09.25-27.09.25 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
The replacement date for our new First Semester Students will take place on 04.10.2025.
The replacement date is on 6.10.2025 for those transferring to higher semesters of Human medicine.

Students without a smartphone should contact finanzen@mhh-asta.de regarding the semester ticket.
For international students and all interested parties, an additional introductory week will take place from September 29 to October 3. You will receive a separate invitation by e-mail. If you have any questions, please contact internationales@mhh-asta.de.
Receipt of the student ID card and access data
You will receive the welcome folder with your student ID card, access data for the IT services and further information about the start of the semester at the information event for newly enrolled students.

Information events for first semester students
The Department of Dentistry represents the dental student body in Hanover and organizes an information day for first-semester students, where they can get to know the university and some of the dentistry students.
Welcome folders containing the student ID card, access data for the IT services and further information about the start of the semester will also be handed out at the information day.

Note: Please be sure to include information about your previous studies. We are obliged by the Higher Education Statistics Act to collect this data and cannot complete the enrollment process without this information.
If the final grade and/or graduation date have not yet been determined, please enter the current average grade and an expected graduation date and inform us of the correct data as soon as it is available.
3) Payment of the semester fee to the account of the Student Office by the registration deadline

Note: If you are also enrolled at another university at the same time as enrolling with us in order to complete your Bachelor's degree there, you have the option of applying for a refund of the student union fee on the MHH Online Campus. We also recommend that you check whether you can have the semester ticket fee reimbursed by your previous university.

1.2 Submit the application (study application) for the respective study programmes

1.3 Confirmation of your application by the Student Office
The application will then have the status "Admission offer has been received". You are NOT yet enrolled!
1.4 Apply for enrolment (in the MHH Online Campus portal) and enter the required data
Uploadproof of measles protection (only use the linked form!) and, if necessary, further proof (e.g. certificate of exmatriculation, etc.).
Note: Please be sure to include information about your previous studies. We are obliged by the Higher Education Statistics Act to collect this data and cannot complete the enrollment process without this information.
If the final grade and/or graduation date have not yet been determined, please enter an expected grade or date and inform us of the correct data as soon as it is available.
2) Payment of the semester fee to the account of the Student Office by the end of the enrolment period

Please, upload Proof of protection against measles (only use the linked document!) and other documents, if applicable (e. g. proof of exmatriculation form other German university).
Please note: You always need to fill out the information on your former studies. Registration cannot be completed without this information.
2) Payment of the semester contribution until the deadline

- Please note: additional fees may incur for transfers abroad. You have to bear these extra costs yourself.

ERASMUS
1) Notification of enrollment to the health insurance company for the health insurance number

- Privately insured/non-German statutory health insurance: register with a German statutory health insurance company of your choice for exemption from the statutory health insurance obligation

2) Apply for enrolment via the online portal MHH Online Campus
2.1 Register on the MHH Online Campus online portal
2.2 Submit the application for the respective study programmes
- Degree: Doctorate (change to ERAMUS will be made by the Student Office)
- Study programmes: e.g. Human medicine
- Semester: 7 (for exchange for Human medicine)
2.3 Confirmation of your application by the Student Office
The application then has the status "Admission offer available". You are NOT yet enrolled!
2.4 Apply for en rolment (in the MHH Online Campus portal) and enter the required data
Note: Please make sure you enter the details of your previous studies. We are obliged by the Higher Education Statistics Act to collect this data and cannot complete the enrollment process without this information.
3) Payment of the semester fee to the account of the Student Office by the end of the enrolment period
