Visceral Oncology Center
People with cancer of the intestines, liver, stomach, bile ducts, pancreas and esophagus will find the right people to talk to at the Visceral Oncology Center at Hannover Medical School at all stages of the disease. The center meets the quality criteria defined by the German Cancer Society and has been awarded the title "Visceral Oncology Center with Recommendation of the German Cancer Society".
Specialists in visceral surgery, gastroenterology, hepatology, radiology and radiotherapy with many years of experience work together on an interdisciplinary basis and can draw on modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for individual treatment planning. This interdisciplinary cooperation is complemented by a close network of psychosocial care, nutritional counseling, oncological specialist care, wound and stoma therapists, outpatient aftercare and rehabilitation. This holistic therapy concept guarantees the best possible care for our patients at the highest level of quality.
