The organ cancer centers form the basis of interdisciplinary patient care at our cancer center. They have a disease-specific structure and combine modern patient care at the highest quality level with the research activities of our Cancer Center and the partners in networks and alliances.
Our organ cancer centers are certified according to the criteria of the German Cancer Society and are coordinated by the Oncology Center.

Pediatric Oncology Center Neurooncology Center Sarcoma Center Center for familial breast and ovarian cancer Center for Personalized MedicineThe recommended procedure in diagnostics, therapy and aftercare is based on current guidelines and the latest medical knowledge, taking into account the individual medical conditions (e.g. concomitant diseases) of the patient.
For each case, specialists from different departments (e.g. surgery, internal oncology, radiotherapy, radiology, pathology) consult with each other in the so-calledtumor conferences. Their aim is to achieve the best possible treatment outcome for each individual with cancer. Treatment can take place at the MHH or close to home.
Throughout the entire period, our patients have access to a comprehensivecounseling and support programavailable to our patients.
