Welcome to the anti-discrimination office
You can read this page in plain languagehere.
At the MHH, all employees and students should feel safe, respected and treated fairly
- regardless of origin, gender, age, religion, sexual identity or disability.
If this is not the case, we are here for you: the Anti-Discrimination Office (AGG Complaints Office) in the Equal Opportunities Office.
Your point of contact for discrimination at the university.
Do you have the feeling that you have been treated unfairly? Or have you observed something that was not right?
Contact us - confidentially, safely and without fear of repercussions.
The most important thing first:
Who can contact the Anti-Discrimination Office?
- All MHH employees who feel discriminated against in connection with their employment relationship
- People who have applied to the MHH and feel discriminated against
- Other members of the MHH, for example students
Other groups of people, such as patients, cannot submit a complaint to the AGG Complaints Office. You can read more about this here.
Your legal rights:
- You may lodge a complaint at any time if you experience discrimination (§13 AGG).
- We will give you an appointment for a consultation within 24 hours.
What happens when you report?
- We listen to you. In a confidential discussion, we will clarify what has happened and what you would like to happen.
- You must not suffer any disadvantages as a result of a complaint (prohibition of discrimination §16 AGG).
- You decide. Your information will not be passed on and no action will be taken without your consent.
- We will help you further. Depending on the case, we will check whether there is discrimination within the meaning of the law and develop the next steps together.
- If necessary, we will involve the legal department or HR management - with your consent, of course.
- Even if your concern is not directly covered by the AGG, we will take care of it and develop a solution together.
