The Department of Trauma Surgery at Hannover Medical School offers comprehensive care for all traumatological patients - from simple injuries such as contusions to complicated multiple injuries and corrective surgery. We combine highly specialized service areas under one roof to provide care for all of the patient's injuries. The latest technologies, which also stem from in-house research, are implemented in our specialised clinics. This ensures that, in addition to optimum care based on the latest scientific findings, further data is obtained that can benefit patients in the future.
The Department of Trauma Surgery at Hannover Medical School has special expertise in the treatment and care of injured patients, including a specialist intensive care unit, furthermore the MHH's emergency ambulance and the Christoph 4 rescue helicopter are manned by trauma surgery physicians.
In addition to a daily general traumatology consultation, we offer various specialised outpatient clinics.
