Strong nerves - strong Nursing in Neurology
We live interprofessional Communications at eye level in motivated multicultural teams.
You will be involved in processes and projects and help shape your working environment. Your day-to-day work is supported by various professional groups so that you have time for your patients. For example, we have around-the-clock bed management within the department, which ensures smooth admission and discharge management in the neurological wards.
You have the free choice of being assigned to a normal ward or a stroke unit.
We will plan your individual induction together and you will be trained by an experienced mentor in accordance with our induction concept.
You will be individually supported through external and internal training and further education.

Nursing is teamwork
We are a strong team, accompany our patients professionally in all phases of therapy and have extensive and up-to-date specialist knowledge.
Nursing before and after diagnostics, during tumor therapy or before organ transplantation is a particularly important part of our work.

The Clinical Department of Trauma Surgery at the MHH, under the medical direction of Prof. Dr. S. Sehmisch, treats a wide range of conditions from simple injuries to highly specialized operations.
Both men and women from adolescence to old age are treated on our normal trauma surgery wards with an integrated geriatric trauma center.
In addition to nursing staff, the multi-professional teams include medical assistants, care assistants, federal volunteers, trainees and interns.
To support the nursing staff and improve patient care, technical innovations are used which can be selected and deployed as required.
The Surgery Center/Day Clinic of the Clinical Department of Trauma Surgery prepares patients who are admitted as inpatients and provides care for outpatient procedures.
