Self-defense & de-escalation training
Participants are taught self-defense techniques to protect themselves.
No previous knowledge or other prerequisites are required. There will also be no warm-up training or similar.
These courses do not build on each other. Participation is therefore possible at any time.
Various everyday situations (verbal and physical abuse) will be illustrated.
By attending the seminar, employees should be able to cope better with such potentially unpleasant situations. As every stressful situation develops its own dynamic, different methods will be demonstrated during the seminar.

"CARE is a confidential counseling and service offer for all employees of the state of Lower Saxony, which you can take advantage of voluntarily and free of charge. CARE counseling offers you support in the event of personal and professional stress that affects your health or ability to work.
The ProBeweis network offers help and support in cases of domestic and / or sexual violence and documents the evidence confidentially and free of charge, regardless of whether a report is made to the police. This gives you the opportunity to take action against the perpetrator at a later date.
The project offers anonymous, free and confidential diagnosis and treatment for people who feel sexually attracted to children and/or adolescents and/or who consume images of sexual abuse of children and/or adolescents (so-called 'child pornography') and seek therapeutic help.
The anonymous platform Say it - Experiences of discrimination at the MHH is an online mailbox for students, trainees and employees of the MHH, which was developed by two Asta officers.
Organizers, counseling centers, the State Working Group for Socioculture and the Department for Women and Equality of the State Capital of Hanover have established this model project to combat border crossings (sexualized violence and harassment) in public spaces.
